I currently live in Egypt. And that can present a few considerations, including:
Time Zone Differences?
I can be your second shift, but I would actually prefer to work with the team in real-time across US time zones, preferably Eastern Time (ET).
9 to 5 ET would correspond to 3-11 pm in my timezone, which is probably even better since I consider myself a night owl. And working in real-time is generally a more practical solution.
Language Barrier?
I’m fluent in English. Almost all of my freelance work has been with English-speaking clients, and it never caused any problems.
I didn’t have any problems writing the content of this site… except for Grammarly trying to get rid of every “actually” and ”really” I write. Which is “actually” fair. since I do “really” overuse these words. But, that’s just how I talk. So Grammarly CAN EAT MY… just kidding haha.
Connection difficulties?
I take my work very seriously and understand the importance of not slowing the team down. and, that’s why I made sure my connection is rock solid.
My computer?
I’m not an Apple fan. But I do appreciate a fast computer and the Apple silicone Macs are stupidly fast, smooth, and stable. And thankfully I do have one. If you haven’t already, seriously try one. They’re amazing!
hmm, maybe I’m an Apple fan after all?!
Different currencies?
I’d be more than happy to get paid in US dollars. and the currency arbitrage allows me to have a significantly lower rate than a typical US-based freelancer, with similar skills and experience.
My name?
W-8 BEN and Paperwork?
I’ve handled this many times and have all the documents prepared.
So, it’s not an issue!
